1843 N-10 R3. EF-40. Petite Head with Small Letters Reverse. Slightly sharper but there is a dull rim nick under the ribbon end. Otherwise this cent is very attractive and nearly flawless. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with frosty luster covering the protected areas on both sides. LDS, die state b. The short point up from the top of the E in CENT is gone, now reduced to a tiny lump. Tied for CC#12. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS61 Brown (NGC label included, and it shows the attribution).
