1842 N-9 R2. MS-60 Plus. Large Date. Lustrous light chocolate and steel with bluish steel overtones on the reverse. There are two small spots of reddish olive toning at the top of the 2 and a third on star 13, and these marks can help identify this cent. Nicely struck MDS, die state b. The die lines over ER in AMERICA are gone and a point extends down from the left base of the N in ONE. CC#6. Removed from a PCGS slab graded MS65 Brown (old green PCGS label included).
