1798 S-167 R1. VF-30. Style II Hair with Large 8. Slightly sharper with a few too many tiny contact marks for the sharpness grade, none significant or especially distracting. The best identifying marks are a diagonal nick left of the upper lip, a tiny planchet flake at the dentils left of the L in LIBERTY, and a very light scuff that lightened the toning below the curl on the neck. Frosty chocolate and steel. Nicely struck EDS+, Breen state II. The die crack up through the 8 is light and the die chips through the E in UNITED are present.
Estimated Value $600-UP.
