1797 S-122 R5+. About Good-3. Slightly sharper but the surfaces are dull from uniform microscopic granularity. No verdigris, and the only mark is a dull rim nick under the right side of the date. Steel and chocolate brown, slightly lighter in the protected areas. The date and legends are complete except for LIBERTY, which is weak. EDS, before any die cracks on the reverse.
