1797 S-120b R2 Gripped Edge. VG-8 Plus. Very slightly sharper with extremely faint roughness under a glossy dark olive patina with slightly lighter steel and chocolate toning on the devices. The only mark is a tiny rim bruise right of the fraction. M-LDS, Breen state V, with crumbling on top of the I in LIBERTY and on the profile of Ms Liberty's face. Struck slightly off center to K-6. The date is bold, the legends are clear, and the gripped edge feature is obvious.
