1795 S-78 R1 Plain Edge. VG-10. Choice glossy chocolate and light olive brown with a hint of reddish chocolate brown toning in the obverse fields. A thin nick on the bottom of the N in ONE is the only notable mark. The date is bold and the legends are clear except for weakness at AMERI due to an uneven strike on the reverse. E-MDS, Breen state II. The reverse displays strong die clashmarks and there is subtle swelling in the obverse fields.
