1794 S-42 R4. Fine-12. Sharpness VF20 but the planchet has a very subtle bend from a dull dent across the bottom edge of the bust that caused a barely visible bulge under OF. The only other mark on this cent is a shallow dent in the field left of the bottom edge of the cap and a faint hairline scratch above the date. The planchet is covered with uniform extremely faint granularity that's mostly hidden under a glossy very dark steel patina. The date and legends are complete and easily readable. LDS, Breen state II, with die clashmarks behind the head.
