(1792-95) Washington Success Token Small Size in Brass Breen-1288. VG-8. Sharpness VF20 but the planchet is covered with microscopic granularity mixed with myriad fine scratches. A couple of those scratches on the reverse are stronger. No verdigris. Slightly glossy dark olive brown with lighter brown and chocolate toning on the devices. LDS. The die crack across the head is strong leaving an obvious co-planar shelf. The section above the crack is recessed relative to the rest of the obverse. Variety with a straight nose and plain edge. Weight 72.3 grains.
