Lot 286
1783 Washington Triumpho copper Breen-1184. VF-20. Sharpness VF35 but covered with microscopic porosity. No marks or verdigris. Later die state with a vertical die failure down the center of the reverse that weakens the 7 in the date. The rest of the date is strong and the legends are bold. Lightly cleaned and retoned, now dark steel and olive brown.
