1739-W French Colonial Billon Sou Marque (Lille Mint) Vlack-200. EF-45. Frosty grayish steel with lustrous bright silvery steel covering the protected areas. The only defect is a small planchet void on the rim over TUM. The W mintmark is boldly doubled on this example, a variety that is not mentioned in the Vlack reference on the series. Weight 33.3 grains.
