Maria Theresa (1717-1780) Archduchess of Austria, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia; Holy Roman Empress by marriage to Francis I of Lorraine. The last and greatest ruler of the Habsburg dynasty, she made many financial and educational reforms. She was the daughter of Charles VI and Marie Antoinette was one of her 16 children. Document Signed, 4pp, 15 x 10½ in., in German, n.p., Jan. 1, 1762. The first page is mostly printed, giving all of Maria Theresa's titles, and has a decorative border; the remainder is ccomplished by hand. A grant for one year involving wood and the amount of 29,096 gulders. Some staining and edge tears to the laid, watermarked paper, not affecting Maria Theresa's signature and seal.
