Great Britain, 1999, "Round-the- World" Balloon Flight Cover. This cover is one of the 10 surviving unflown examples of these "Cable and Wireless Balloon" covers signed by pilots Elson and Prescot. The details of the flight are written in ink on the cover. ALL FLOWN COVERS WERE LOST when the capsule sank in the Sea of Japan while ditching. This is the last remaining cover of the 10 known to still exist. An important addition to any balloon collection.
