Jefferson Airplane / Grateful Dead Poster. 1969 Bill Graham #171 Poster for Jefferson Airplane / Grateful Dead Poster for Winterland - Fillmore. Bill Graham is credited with the early careers of groups such as Santana, Eddie Money and Phil Collins' Beat. He was also responsible for promoting the careers of many groups that played the concert circuit between 1965 and 1991, and was instrumental in commissioning and marketing psychedelic concert posters by designers including Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley, Wes Wilson and Rick Griffin. These posters are now considered collector's items. He then went on to set the standard for well-produced large-scale rock concerts, such as the American portion of Live Aid in JFK Stadium. 21 x 13 in. Excellent condition.
