Welles, Orson. Typed Noted Signed "Orson" under a handdrawn ogre's head, The note is to Kendis Rochlen, who was the movie columnist for the Los Angeles Mirror -News during the 1950s. Welles typed in capital letters, "Dearest Kendis, Forgive a telephobe for a rudely curt exchange on that dreaded machine and blame the bug for it. The fever's down this afternoon and I should be my own angelic self again any second now. Meanwhile apologies and fondest love." A second Typed Note Signed "Orson" says simly, "Darling Kendis, Please forgive this lone delay…Yours ever." Both fine.
Estimated Value $600 - 800.
