Civil War Militia Knapsack. A scarce Antique Civil War Militia-Style Box Frame tared canvas and leather knapsack, circa 1859-1864. Measures 13.75" H x 15" W x 4" deep. Marked; #40 on the side panel, #59 on the back, #29 over #48, "Sep Co." on the front. Some leather straps missing. A very scarce piece of Civil War memorabilia. In good Condition with small split midway down right front.
