[Jazz Musicians]. Thirteen items signed: Dizzy Gillespie, 4 items--a 10 x 8 in. photo dated '79, two 5¾ 4¼ cards dated 5/24/79, and a 2 x 3½ in card dated '87, all four inscribed "To Harry"; Count Basie, a 2 x 3½ in. card; Lena Horn, 2 x 3½ in. card inscribed "Sincerely"; Frank Sinatra, a 3 x 5 in. index card (a note on back tells where card was signed--Hilton, Lucy Party, 3/87); Hoagy Carmichael, a 2 x 3½ in. card; Eubie Blake, a 2 x 3½ in. card dated July 22, 1980; Harry James, a 3 x 5 in. card; Lionel Hampton, 2 cards--a 3 x 5 in. and a 2 x 3½ in., one inscribed to Harry and one to Neil Benton; and Stan Kenton, a "Kentonia, Inc. card and a 10 x 8 in. photo inscribed "For Harry." "Harry" is Harry Sparks, who was a Salvation Army bandsman in Hollywood for 35 years. All fine.
