Arlen, Harold (1905-1986) Prolific American composer, best known for composing the songs from "The Wizard of Oz." Autograph Musical Quotation Inscribed and Signed, "Mary Virginia / Sincerely / Harold Arlen" on the verso of a 2¼ x 3½ in. card with two bars and lyrics, "Some-where Over the Rainbow," n.p., n.d. Fine. Arlen wrote over 400 songs, including "It's Only A Paper Moon," "Stormy Weather," " I've Got the World on A String,", and "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive."
