Byzantine Empire. Justinian II, first reign, 685-695. half follis or 20 nummi (1.94g), Syracuse. Crowned half-length bust facing, holding gl. cr. Rev. Large K, monogram of Justinian below, smaller K to l. Unpublished, but cf. Calciati (MBBS) 44-5 for a follis probably belonging to the same issue. Good very fine with dark patina, possibly unique.
