Byzantine Empire. Constantine IV alone, 681-685. follis or 40 nummi (4.66g), Ravenna, 683 (regnal year 30, 11th. indiction). Helmeted and cuir. bust three-quarter face to r., with short beard, holding spear and shield. Rev. Large M between ANNO and XXX, [IA above], Q below, RAV in ex. Cf. DOC 92 = Tolstoi 132; MIB 118; Sear 1240. Good very fine and very rare with dark green patina.
