Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius struck at an uncertain mint. Young head right of Augustus within oak wreath. Reverse: Candelabrum within wreath. RIC 540. Rare. Choice Very Fine.
The obverse portrait has been variously identified with Caius or Lucius Caesars, or Augustus himself. Caius and Lucius were the sons of Agrippa and Julia, daughter of Augustus.
