1917 Hobo Nickel. Fine-15. Glossy steel gray. The Indian has been transformed into an Amish Farmer. Done with excellent skill and attributed to "Bo." Plated on page 78 of The Original Hobo Nickel Book. Glossy and attractive with moderate wear and most of the buffalo's horn visible. The Indian has a helmet or brimmed hat, delicate beard, and high collar. An excellent example of this popular piece of American culture.
