1794 C-4a R3. Fine-15. Small Edge Letters. Choice glossy light olive brown and chocolate. Smooth and virtually flawless. The only marks are a small planchet void left of the date and a couple more even smaller ones at the fraction, all as struck. The date and legends are bold. LDS, Manley state 4.0. The die clashmarks and swelling are strong and the crack at M in AMERICA is clear.

Purchased from a fellow named "Johnson" in the 1930's to early 40's for $3.50.
