Austria - Salzburg. Gold Medal (6 Ducat), 1772. BR-4417. 20.7 grams. 33.6 mm. Hieronymus Graf Colloredo, 1772-1803. For the Election as Archbishop. Obverse: Bust of Hieronymus right, engraver's name Mazenhopf (letters not struck well) below. Reverse: Seated female figure holding staff and shield of two heads. Ancient city of Salzburg behind with river below. Legend: PROVIDVM IMPERIUM FELIX. Cleaned with a matte finish granular surface. Later cast copy. Extremely Fine.
