Lombardic Kingdom, Northern Italy. Time of Albion and Cleph, c. AD 568/9-574. Gold Tremissis (1.46 g). Diademed, cuirassed and draped bust right; legend of Justinian I. Reverse: Victory standing facing, holding wreath and globus cruciger; in right field, six-pointed star. Seemingly unpublished; cf. MEC I, p. 62 and plate 15, 294. Choice Very Fine.

This is likely one of the earliest coins of the Lombards and very important as such.
