1802 S-228 R2. Fine-15. Error Fraction 1/000. Sharpness VF30 but there is some extremely fine roughness hidden under a glossy dark olive and steel patina. There are traces of shallow verdigris around the eye and a few more can be found elsewhere on the obverse if you look carefully with a good glass, but the eye appeal remains decent. MDS, Breen state III. The date, legends, and error fraction are all strong.
