Q. Antoninus Balbus, moneyer, 83 BC. AR Denarius (Serrate). Laureate head right of Jupiter; behind, "SC". Reverse: Victory in quadriga right, holding wreath and palm branch. Cr. 364/1d; RSC Antonia 1. Well struck with wonderful natural iridescent toning. Nearly Mint State.
Struck by the faction opposing Sulla's return to Rome.
