AR Denar, 3.6g, attributed to Year 3 (134/5 C.E.). Bunch of grapes and tendril, with Hebrew inscription "Simon." Reverse: Two upright trumpets with inscription "For the Freedom of Jerusalem", Mild 199, AJC 60. H-730. Nicely struck, with traces of underlying Roman inscriptions near edge on both sides. Choice Very Fine, with gentle steel-gray toning.
