Before Coinage. Ancient Jewish Scale Weight. 8th to 6th centuries BCE, 4 Gerah. Domed limestone engraved IIII on top. The gerah was the smallest fraction of a shekel mentioned in the Bible: "The shekel is twenty gerahs" (Exodus 30:13). A choice example with very clear denomination.
