Geldof, Bob - "Do They Know It's Christmas?" Signed Album Cover. Hand signed in green Sharpie across the cover. The album was released in 1984 by Band Aid, a British and Irish charity supergroup founded in 1984 by Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia. Some 40 performers, including Bono, David Bowie, Sting, and Paul McCartney, donated their time and talent to the album, raising over £8 million for the cause. Minor edge wear to cover. Album is present. This was signed by Bob Geldof for a silent auction conducted by Los Angeles radio station KLSX for the benefit of AIDS research in the early 1990s.
