1819 N-4 R3 PCGS graded AU58. PCGS graded AU-58. Close Stars. Glossy medium brown and chocolate delicately mottled with darker chocolate and olive brown on the obverse. A pinprick in the field midway between star 3 and the chin and a thin nick under the eye are the only notable marks. LDS. Called EF40 and equal to the finest confirmed for the variety in the Bland condition census. Noyes says EF40 net VF25 and tied for CC#21 (reason for deduction not given), his photo #20776. Our grade is VF35. PCGS Population 1; none finer.
