1806 C-1 R1. VF-35. Stemless Wreath. Sharpness near AU50 but the toning is uneven because the upper right part of the obverse and lower right part of the reverse were lightly cleaned and retoned dark steel and olive while the remainder of the planchet is an attractive frosty medium brown. The contrast in the toning adversely affects the eye appeal of an otherwise nice half cent. MDS with the reverse rotated 15 degrees CW.
