1794 C-4a R3. Good-5. Small Edge Letters. Glossy chocolate and steel. No corrosion or verdigris, but there are some dull, shallow scratches hidden in the toning on both sides. Otherwise this piece would rate a slightly higher grade. The date is bold and the legends are clear except for weakness at RICA. LDS, Manley state 4.0, with strong swelling covering the field under the cap. Nice eye appeal for the grade in spite of the light marks.
