1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny Small Buttons with Reeded Edge Breen-1270 . PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. Glossy medium chocolate brown with frosty mint luster peeking through in the protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and attractive, void of any marks or other distractions. Late die state with several fine die cracks in the obverse legend. Nicely struck for the Small Buttons variety, which is often found with weakly impressed details. PCGS population 2 with 2 finer, 1 in MS63 and 1 in MS64.
