1810 S-284 R3 EF. EF-45 Plus. Turban Head. Choice frosty chocolate and steel brown with lustrous golden tan toning faded down from mint color in some of the protected areas. The protected areas are covered with satiny mint luster and the eye appeal of this cent is outstanding. Very close to AU50 and choice in every respect. The best identifying mark on this cent is a microscopic pinprick between the lower right points of star 3. MDS, Breen state II. Struck very slightly off center to K-5. Removed from a PCGS slab graded AU58 (PCGS label included, and it mentions the Benson provenance).
Estimated Value $3,000 - 4,000.
