1810/09 S-281 R1. VF-35. Turban Head. Overdate 10 over 09. Sharpness EF40 or slightly better but lightly burnished and expertly retoned glossy chocolate and light olive brown. Excellent eye appeal in spite of the delicately smoothed surfaces. No corrosion or verdigris, and the only marks are a few thin, light nicks in the field off the chin. Nicely struck E-MDS, Breen state III. The overdate is clear. A beautiful if slightly imperfect Turban Head cent.
