1796 S-82 R5. VF-25. Liberty Cap. Sharpness near AU50 but dark and covered with uniform extremely fine roughness. No verdigris or marks other than a tiny planchet chip over the left side of the M in AMERICA, and this offers an excellent identifying mark. Frosty dark olive and steel. Sharply struck EDS, Breen state I. Struck slightly off center to K-12. All the details are fully impressed, including ONE CENT. Great sharpness and the eye appeal is decent in spite of the imperfect surfaces.
