1794 S-71 R2. VF-20. Attractive glossy light chocolate brown with darker chocolate toning in protected areas. Smooth surfaces with only a few trivial marks, including a small carbon spot on the upper edge of the cap, a closely-spaced pair of faint hairline scratches arcing in the field under the cap, a tiny rim bruise over the Y in LIBERTY, and a slightly stronger one at AT in STATES. MDS, Breen state IV. The die clashmarks are clear but the crack at RT has not occurred. Called F15 net F12 and tied for CC#21 in the Noyes census, his photo #32784.
