1794 S-64 R5-. Fine-15. Missing Fraction Bar. Choice glossy chocolate and steel brown. Smooth, virtually flawless surfaces. A dull vertical nick in the field under the cap and a tiny rim nick under the 17 are the only marks. Very late die state, Breen state V. The central reverse is heavily swollen causing most of ONE CENT to be worn smooth, and a die crack extends from the dentils down to the right top of the M in AMERICA. The missing fraction bar feature is clear. A very attractive example of this popular "Redbook" variety. Called F15 net F12 in the Noyes census, his photo #25959.
