1794 S-58 R3. VF-25. Glossy chocolate brown with very subtle mottlings of slightly lighter brown on the obverse. Excellent eye appeal with only a few trivial defects. A trace of very fine verdigris is located between the 9 & 4 and a speck of verdigris is clinging to the lower edge of the chin. The only marks of any significance are a very light rim bruise at IB in LIBERTY and a very light rim nick at the R in AMERICA. LDS, Breen state IV early, with a raised retained cud break at UNIT. Called VF25 net VF20 and tied for CC#16 in the Noyes census, his photo #34742.
