1836 N-3 R1 PCGS graded MS66BN. PCGS graded MS-66 Brown. The obverse is highly lustrous dark bluish steel and olive with a ring of slightly faded mint color off the dentils tips giving it an attractive "halo-like" appearance. The reverse is lustrous light olive and steel brown with reddish tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. A very faint spot of slightly darker toning is located just right of the date and a smaller spot of reddish chocolate toning is at the leaf tip under the second T in STATES. The only sign of contact is a tiny, very light nick in the field just left of star 9. Excellent eye appeal. LDS with a cud break extending down inside the dentils at star 6 and an arcing die crack arcross the upper half of the reverse. Noyes photo #35893. Our grade is MS63.
