1835 N-7 R1 MS60+. MS-60. Star. Head of 1836. Glossy olive brown and chocolate with faded mint red covering the protected areas. An arcing struck-through line over the T in CENT (caused by a tiny piece of thread or wire on the die) is the only notable mark. E-MDS. The die rust normally found on this variety is not present, but the tiny lumps on the left base of the 1 & 8 in the date that are present in the early state are still visible. A fine double profile extends from the top of the browlock down to the chin with additional doubling on LIBERTY and stars 1-10.
Estimated Value $500-UP.
