1835 N-6 R1 PCGS graded MS64BN. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. Head of 1834 with Small 8 and Stars. Highly lustrous and very attractive frosty bluish steel and light olive brown with peeps of faded mint red showing in protected areas on the reverse. No spots or stains, just a couple extremely faint abrasions in the field before the portrait and a microscopic tick over the 5 in the date from perfect. EDS with a fine, crisp line or die crack passing through the base of the 835 and clear repunching on the right edge of the C in AMERICA. The fields are satiny from microscopic die flowlines. Called MS63 and CC#2 in the Noyes census, his photo #21699. Bland says MS60+ and tied for CC#6. Our grade is MS63. PCGS Population 1; none finer.
