1834 N-4 R2 PCGS graded MS65RB. PCGS graded MS-65 Red & Brown. Large 8, Small Stars, Medium Letters. Choice lustrous mint red mellowing to steel brown, at least two-thirds of the faded mint color remaining. The only marks are a few small spots of darker chocolate brown toning, including one on the lower part of the neck and a couple more at the E in ONE. MDS with a fine die crack through the tops of F-AM to the dentils over the adjacent E. The die rust at NITED STATES has been lapped away. Called MS70- and finest known in the Bland census. Noyes says MS65 choice and tied for CC#1, his photo #36376. Our grade is MS65. PCGS Population 1; none finer.
