1834 N-3 R1 PCGS graded MS64BN. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. Large 8, Small Stars, Medium Letters. Highly lustrous sea green and light olive with bluish steel overtones on the reverse. Great eye appeal and virtually flawless except for a small splash of reddish chocolate brown toning at the dentils left of star 4 and a faint vertical hairline in the field before the mouth. MDS with a die crack through stars 12 & 13 to the dentils at both ends. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees on this example. Called MS63 and tied for CC#2 in the Noyes census, his photo #28680. Bland says MS63 as well but CC#4 in his list. Our grade is MS63. PCGS Population 1; 2 finer, 1 in 65BN, 1 in 66BN.
