1834 N-2 R1 PCGS graded MS66BN. PCGS graded MS-66 Brown. Small 8, Large Stars, Medium Letters. Frosty medium brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel. Traces of slightly faded mint red remain in some of the protected areas, mostly on the reverse. The surfaces are satiny and virtually flawless. A tiny speck of dark toning touching the right edge of the curl over star 13 is the best identifying mark. LDS. The points from the dentils under the date and star 1 are gone and the reverse is rotated 20 degrees CW. Called MS63 choice and tied for CC#4 in the Noyes census, his b photo #36390. Our grade is MS63+, close to MS64. PCGS Population 3; none finer.
