1894 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded MS-64. Frosty and untoned. Popular low mintage date. The 1894 Morgan, one of only 110,000 pieces made, is the most difficult Philadelphia Morgan to find in such choice condition. There is no reason to chop words, we'll strike right to the heart of things: even the best silver dollar collections rarely have an example of this issue in Gem condition. Collectors of high value grades will find it particularly desirable, since the surface is exquisite, fully frosty and white. Almost MS65 quality in fact. One expects a few of the usual bagmarks and light rim nicks. MS64s, of course, cannot be perfect. Yet this particular coin is decidedly above the norm. Those who seek the utmost beauty in their coins will observe this handsome example with the respect it deserves. Again, the coin displays white creamy-smooth luster, centers are full, without the usual mushiness on the hair and eagle's breast. All in all, a splendid 1894 Morgan that bidders may have to compete for aggressively to acquire. We are sure it will end up as a focal point in a high-grade set of silver dollars (PCGS # 7228) .
Estimated Value $7,500 - 8,000.

Realized $7,763
