Lot 1220

1893-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-63. Mostly untoned with semi reflective fields. Intense but still satiny frost on the devices, the coin lightly scuffed to where a MS64 grade isn't quite available, yet the silver radiance persists almost undiminished, especially on the rolling cheek of Liberty. One would be hard put to add more about the mint bloom. As for the strike, the coin was struck with typical inexactness in the centers, although throughout the remaining areas, full definition in the hair curls and leafy ornamentation of Liberty's crown confirms the grade (PCGS # 7222) .
Estimated Value $4,000 - 4,200.
