Very Rare Denarius of Gordian II. Rome mint. Draped, laureate, and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: Virtus standing left, holding spear and shield; VIRTVS AVGG. RIC 3; RSC 14. Rare. Lightly toned, some minor deposits remaining in the protected areas of the legends. Faint old scratches behind head. Extremely Fine, the reverse nearly so.
