Ionia, Magnesia. 350-300 BC. AR Didrachm (7.0g). Armed horseman prancing right, holding couched spear. Reverse: Humped bull butting left, legend above and magistrate's name below; all within circular Maeander pattern. Cf. S-4475-4476; cf. BMC Ionia pg. 158. cf. Triton III, lot 514. Toned, well centered and excellent metal. Nearly Extremely Fine.
