1842 $10 Liberty. Small date. AU-55. Broken out of an NGC holder where it was graded AU 55. One small rim mark on the edge above TA of STATES. Minor handling marks from a brief time in circulation, and decidedly scarce in this grade. Perhaps half a dozen exist in this grade or better. The reverse has a die crack through the left wing of the eagle through the shield. Satiny gold color and an average strike.
